Foam broom versus bristle-and-squeegee brush. The Snow Joe's wide foam head pushes heavy snow off an SUV roof faster and can't scratch paint; the AstroAI's bristles and squeegee handle light powder and slush on glass better and its detachable chipper scraper is the better ice tool. SUV and crossover owners who fight roof snow: Snow Joe. Sedan owners who mostly clear glass and hood: AstroAI. Both are cheap enough to own one of each.
Pick the Snow Joe if…

- ✓Paint protection matters (foam can't scratch)
Pick the AstroAI if…
- ✓Sedan or hatchback
- ✓You want a real scraper with ice chippers
- ✓Light powder and slush more than deep dumps
